ERIE TRIP #2 July 6-9:
We don't have any pictures of 2 weekends ago, of our very first trip. (Which was in Erie.)

Well,   here we gooo!  Our second trip in the RV.  We are at the KOA campground!!! Can I just say.....NICE!!! There is so much for the kids to do.  It is soo clean too!  Our ride here was a little hot (to say the least).  Once we settled in the kids swam and we ate.  The crock pot is my new friend.  Did pulled pork while in route and perfection once we got here.  So easy to clean.  The kids loved it.  There was a movie for the kids on a big screen by the pool.  "Once Upon a Forest".  They all seemed to enjoy it.  We have cable and wifi.  Yes, all of the comforts of home.   It is so much more fun to clean the RV than our home.  Now when I say I am going to wash the floor it takes only seconds.  Yet, I still tell 'em that I am slavin' while they are havin' good time. Paper plates are the way too go.  Clean up is  a snap.

We had a big breakfast of cheesy eggs made by Dad --he did the dishes too!!  We swam at the pool and at 1:00 the kids had a Chocolate Slip and slide.  Oh, the pictures of that will be able to viewed-- don't miss it.  Swimming again.....ya never can too much in this heat.  I heard it is 102 in the "Burgh" today.  Not sure what it is here.  All I know is that it is hot.

Ya know,  I am so glad  I "forced" Matt to do this.  This is better that a second home.  You do not have to cut the grass, pull weeds, paint or deal with homeowner associations.   Just drive to a new location.  Meet new people.  See new places.  Being in small quarters creates a sense of togetherness--- even if it is disfunctional....it is still our disfunction---we will never forget these times together.  When our children have children we can talk about the time we visited this location or met that person.  Good or Bad we will learn and grow from these times.    It's so funny no matter how far away from home you go you still meet people who know someone you know.  That's what I love about traveling.  It's a small world after all.

Well, the kids are riding the petal bikes and at 4pm there is the goat walk.  Yep, just a walkin' with the goats.  Nope! ya can't do that at home.  Then, there is the icream socail.  Complete with a clown and balloon making and face painting.  Tonights movie, "Ratatoulle".   I case you were wondering... tonight we dine on steak and chicken kabobs with rice, corn on the cobb (done in the fire pit).  Yep,  does it get better than this.....check in for tomorrow's adventures.   Lovin' it!!!
